Subject: The guidance of advisor/advisee activities at NUK during the COVID-19 pandemic

Based on the committee meeting of the NUK COVID-19 Response Task Force on April 17, 2020, the guidance of advisor/advisee activities at NUK during the COVID-19 pandemic is given below:

1.The use of advisor/advisee activity fee is prohibited for dining together with students during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, advisors may spend the fee wisely by creating memorable moments with advisees and purchasing for example, gifts and vouchers for advisees.

2.Advisors can use the advisor/advisee activity fee within this whole year. The required documents including activity photos, a sign-in sheet with advisee signatures and receipts of gifts and vouchers should be prepared for reimbursement.

3.Advisors may resume dining together with advisees when CDC announces new instruction.

It is our responsibility to protect everyone’s health in our campus. Please follow CDC social distancing recommendations and avoid going to crowded places. Our faculty member, students and staffs are urged to wear face masks if you are unable to keep social distancing, especially in the classroom. If you feel unwell, you are urged to wear face masks and go to the hospital immediately.
