Subject: Please take a self-health management measures for 14 days if you receive the text message (notification) from Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC).

1. Over the weekend, 24 sailors from the "Fleet of Friendship" were confirmed to have contracted the coronavirus. The CECC estimates the sailors traveled to about 90 locations in 10 counties and cities across Taiwan during that period, including Keelung, New Taipei, Taipei, Taoyuan, Taichung, Yunlin, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Pingtung.

2. If you receive the text message (notification), do not panic. Please take a self-health management measures for 14 days and follow the instruction (Wear face masks, avoid taking public transportation, and keep social distance).

3. If you feel unwell, you are urged to wear face masks and go to the hospital immediately. Please do not go to school and stay at home for the self-health management. Under such circumstances, you have to request sick leave. Faculty members have to arrange the make-up class schedule or offer on-line courses for students. Students have to notice the department secretary for assistance.

It is our responsibility to protect everyone’s health in our campus. Please follow CDC social distancing recommendations and avoid going to crowded places. Our faculty member, students and staffs are urged to wear face masks if you are unable to keep social distancing, especially in the classroom. If you feel unwell, you are urged to wear face masks and go to the hospital immediately.
